Praise for 10 year staff at Harrison
- Harrison
At Harrison our aim is to be the best employer in the business and our staff retention rate would suggest that we’re not doing too badly in this area. In order to show our longest serving staff members how important they are to us, we treated them to a fantastic celebratory lunch at Gatton Park, home of the Royal Alexandra and Albert School in Reigate.
With over 30 people joining the Harrison 10 years service ‘club’ on a scorching hot day in Surrey, the prosecco was flowing and friendships were made and reacquainted. Managing Director Geoffrey Harrison was there to host the event, with members of the Board hosting each table – and for once, Director of Food and Service Chef Mark Stower had the opportunity to relax and enjoy the lunch rather than cooking it! Mark reached 10 years service this year and the cooking on the day was passed to John Smith, Executive Head Chef at Cranleigh School, with the support of the catering team at Royal Alexandra and Albert School.
Geoffrey Harrison said: “In the ten years prior to this lunch, our company has grown from £11m turnover to over £52m turnover – the kind of success which can only come from dedicated employees giving their best in their contracts every day.”
