The programme aims to give 16-23 year olds a step up on to the apprenticeship and employment ladder. It combines work preparation and employment skills and functional skills in Maths and English with specific industry training and valuable on the job practical work experience.
‘HIT’s new Traineeship Programme is a great initiative to encourage young people coming out of school to choose the hospitality industry, ensuring that there is a pipeline of skilled professionals to meet the demands of this growing industry’, said Harrison’s Training Manager Alex Taylor.
‘For Harrison, it’s a chance to tap into the talent of tomorrow and also give back to the customers we serve every day by providing them opportunities that can help them launch a career in hospitality’.
