Two Harrison colleagues recently received top honours at the University of West London School of Hospitality and Tourism annual prize-giving
and awards ceremony.
In the NVQ Level 3 Patisserie and Confectionary course, Sous Chef Scott George Perkins was awarded The Russum Cup, for the student showing
high commitment to studies.
Catering Manager Naseema Rasheed received The Frederick Forsyth CBE Award, a special award for the student overcoming the greatest difficulties
in their studies. Both Naseema and Scott received their awards from Geoffrey Harrison, who as guest of honour had the privilege of presenting all the awards during the ceremony.
Harrison Catering Services also sponsored an award for the NVQ Level 2 Professional Cookery students, The Harrison Cup.
“I could not have been more proud to see Naseema and Scott recognised with top awards at the ceremony,” Geoffrey said. “Harrison is committed to the training and development of our staff so that they can grow and excel in their careers, and both these talented individuals have clearly made the most of their educational opportunities.”
