Harrison Catering featured on Celebrity MasterChef

We have been sitting on this for a little while – but the recent airing of episode two of the current series of Celebrity MasterChef featured the last four contestants testing their skills in a busy school kitchen. The celebrities involved, Nick Pickard of Hollyoaks, former Olympic sprinter Darren Campbell, 80s model Linda Lusardi and entrepreneur Michelle Mone spent an exhausting morning working at the BRIT School in Croydon – a Harrison contract since January 2010.

Under the watchful eye of Catering Manager Sue Rossi (pictured above) the contestants split into two teams in order to create two main meals – one vegetarian – and a dessert for the hungry students who had spent the morning studying, singing, dancing and making music. Pickard and Mone’s beef lasagne certainly seemed to go down well and Sue’s skills were required to ‘rescue’ a rather burnt pineapple sponge; something she doesn’t have to do too often!

Congratulations to Sue who did a great job of managing the two teams and dealing with the challenge of a large camera crew invading her kitchen for a full day!
