As we start 2018 and the continued interest in all foods features heavily across social media, some dishes will resonate and become a firm favourite in our repertoires.

Responsible sourcing of quality, fresh seasonal foods and ingredients enables us to create dishes from scratch. This has been at the heart of what we do since we were established in 1994. By creating our own dishes we have greater flexibility to reflect trends, customer needs and wellbeing.

Our development chefs have modified a number of our popular home bakes incorporating more fruits to reduce other sugars whilst still remaining flavoursome and delicious. Using vegetables in cakes and breads creates interesting combinations, Delectable lemon and parsnip or pea and vanilla cakes are popular.  Our breads, that are freshly made on site, are packed full of flavours like earthy beetroot or spicy chilli.  These ingredients create a visually interesting experience as well as a culinary one and provide opportunities to try something different. Healthier alternatives are still in demand and with yoghurt bars with fresh fruits and seeds and hydration stations packed with citrus, berries and herbs creating varied combinations of natural flavoured waters.

Keen to encourage further interests in fresh food, Harrison produce monthly ‘How to’ recipe videos.  These videos are accessible here on on our website in the recipes section. These innovative tactics echo the company ethos of cooking from scratch and demonstrate Harrison’s ability to bring benefit to customers, throughout the day.
