The role
Harrison Catering Services is one of the UK’s leading independent catering companies, serving high-quality, freshly-cooked food to thousands of people in schools and workplaces every day.
We are looking to recruit an Assistant Cook / Baker to join one of our school catering teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food, as well as assisting the Cook Manager on a daily basis.
The ideal candidate will be qualified to NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or equivalent level. A strong team player is required and previous experience cooking for large numbers is essential. You will be rewarded with a competitive salary for working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00hrs-15:45hrs (Inc. lunch break), term time only.
