Continuing to shape the future of hospitality

Through the Geoffrey Harrison Foundation and our long-standing partnership with the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts’ Adopt a School programme, we educate, support and inspire the next generation of hospitality professionals.

Founded in 2011, the Foundation has contributed over £1.16 million to advancing education and opportunity in hospitality – more than £760k from Harrison Catering Services and over £300k from the Savoy Educational Trust, helping young people build skills, confidence and experience for successful careers.

Over £800k has funded Junior Chef courses for Years 9–11, delivered through educational partners: Westminster Kingsway College, the University of West London, Loughborough College, and Burton and South Derbyshire College. More than 2,800 students have completed the courses, gaining hands-on experience in professional kitchens, communication and customer service. Each course concludes with a graduation event where students prepare and serve dishes to VIP guests, including family, friends, and Foundation trustees.

In line with its objectives, the Foundation has also invested more than £200k in scholarships and educational support, enabling aspiring hospitality students to progress their studies and careers.

Harrison is also making an early impact through its partnership with the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts. The Chefs Adopt a School programme has reached more than 15,000 primary-aged schoolchildren, sparking enthusiasm for food and offering insight into hospitality – learn more here.
