The Harrison Chefs' Forum
Wednesday 03 January 2007
The Harrison Chefs' Forum meets quarterly, with the objectives of keeping good food and craft skills at the top of the agenda, and sharing innovation and good practice across the company.
The forum is chaired by Mark Stower, Harrison Executive Chef, and the discussions with our Chef Managers and Head Chefs range from ingredients and techniques, to eating trends and craft development planning.
Usually the forum dines at a restaurant, using the experience to monitor trends in the commercial sector and discuss whether and how they may be incorporated in our business.
In December, for the first time, the Chefs' Forum was held at one of our client's premises - the famous Cranleigh School, where our Chef Manager, John Smith and his team had the opportunity to show their talent and flair by cooking an exceptional taster menu which was much enjoyed by all.
